Open For Business: Cross-Rhodes Restaurants on Chicago

Afternoon sun lights up this heritage building in Evanston's South side. I was struck by the light on the façade of this turn-of-the-century building which has been the home of many businesses serving our community since the 1900's. The late afternoon shadows define the historic columns and full size Terracotta Steer bust as staff below are busy preparing the nights offering in this long-standing Greek Restaurant on Chicago Avenue in Evanston's South Side. I used a warm color palette and an aggressive perspective to project the image as a beacon of hope during challenging times for this community.
