Trust

While attending a local ploughing match I was fascinated by the many horses of varying sizes and breeds that were on hand. I found myself being single-mindedly careful to keep my distance from these large animals. I sharp contrast to my own caution were the many sparrows present who held no fear whatsoever of the great beasts many times their own size. One horse in particular caught my attention by the way in which it braced one leg against the other as it rested. This posture and the fearless little house sparrows simply coalesced in my mind a day or two later. And I painted.
