Painted in the Naval Live Oaks portion of Gulf Islands National Seashore, this oil on linen covered panel shows a stretch of beach uncovered by a recent hurricane. Though some might say why paint damaged trees and an eroded beach, I found the shapes, eddies and colors to have an interest and beauty not seen under typical conditions
