Punjab's Mustard Fields

Oil is the medium. Inspired by mustard fields and farmhouses of Punjab, India. My process involved study and painting the farm landscape from my photographs. I was most recently inspired to study the landscape and appreciate the farms and farmers of India, who are currently in the middle of nationwide protests - protesting new laws that would threaten their livelihood.
