The villa Narcissa (Roquebrune. cap Martin, France)was painted outdoors at the villa in February , Valentines week (in oil painting( all brush.)
The beautiful mimosa tree on the left often blooms in March but we had an early bloom. In the far distance is Menton ( Italy further. The villa was once owned by a Polish Princess snd frequented by Sir WinstonChurchill. When February is sunny the light is clean and sharp.
Note the lovers footsteps to the left of the red roses. It’s a magical setting in the Côté d’azur,(France).
